7 days left - Secret Treat

Today the kids opened a box full of candy.  Who wouldn't want to open that right?  However, the box of candy had a catch, they had to share every last piece.  They were on a secret mission to share a little sugar and a lot of smiles, without anyone knowing that it was from them.  They divided up the candy into piles and loaded it into their backpacks.  The real fun for me came when I picked them up.  Cambelle told me she had a GREAT day!  She went into her classroom first thing in the morning and placed a candy in several of the desks, and then she asked her teacher if she could use the bathroom and filled her class mates backpacks.  She was smiling so big as she told me.  She said people were asking if she knew who did it and she kept the secret, but she said it was hard not to smile.  J.T. used the candy as an excuse to share it with the girls that he thinks are cute, he was pretty cute himself when he told me how he had to hurry up and thought he was going to get caught.  Sara, made arrangements with one of her teachers to leave for a few minutes to place them in lockers down her hall.  They came home from school happy and content.  I know that doing things for other people, even if it is as simple as a piece of  candy, brings happiness into our own lives,
