J.T. had just gone to bed and he came right back out, with a smile on his face, "Mom, you have to come see the sunset!" He knows I love the golden light that is created and the end of a beautiful sunny day. I stepped out on to the front porch and indeed it was beautiful. There are trees that are blocking the full view of the sunset, so I told the kids to jump in the car and we drove down the street just a bit until we could watch unobstructed, the gorgeousness that is a summer sunset. I know these moments are precious, the moments I share with my kids. They are just as fleeting as the golden minutes we witnessed tonight. Life is good.
