The Udvar Hazy Air and Space Museum was the only museum we were able to see on our vacation. It is about 15 minutes away from D.C. As we were driving there I thought I better check the hours and that is when our plans got turned on their ear. There was a note at the top of the website that said if the government shutdown the next day, that the museum would be closed. What?!! Really?! So when we got there, the kids looked around and I got on the phone to get some information of what would and would not be closed. But more on that later....
This is a memory I will hold onto forever, Cambelle took so many pictures of everything. It was fun to watch.
J.T. was in heaven he loved every minute of it.
They even got to ride in the flight simulators, which was the highlight. Seeing how excited they were was so much fun.
